Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy with good corrosion resistance. It maintains this resistance in both chemical processing and marine environments, and in temperatures ranging from below zero to 800 degrees F. Monel 400 is only hardened through cold working and has good weldability. Monel 400 is utilized in several ways, including:
